Public Contract Code Section 3400 allows school districts to specify particular brands or trade names to be used in construction projects to enable consistency with existing products and to decrease cost of maintaining and improving facilities. A resolution must be adopted by the Governing Board in order to meet the requirements of the Public Contract Code.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: The Board adopts Resolution 09.10.28 Specifying Single Source for Procuring Materials in the Construction, Repair, Alteration of District Facilities.
